1. Overview
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and purchases made on codeword.tech and across our software products — Macro, Spotbeam, Thirdeye, Deeptracer, and Datastory — operated by Codeword Technologies Private Limited, a Delhi-based private limited company.
All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. We use a single Stripe account across all our products.
Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to any of our Services.
2. Subscription Plans
Our products (Macro, Spotbeam, Thirdeye, Deeptracer, Datastory) are offered on:
Monthly Subscriptions — billed every 30 days
Annual Subscriptions — billed once per year at a discounted rate
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through one of the following methods:
In-app: Navigate to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
Email: Send a cancellation request to info@codeword.tech with your registered email address and the product name (Macro / Spotbeam / Thirdeye / Deeptracer / Datastory)
Cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
Upon cancellation:
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
Access to the product will be revoked once the current paid period expires
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers on all monthly plans across Macro, Spotbeam, Thirdeye, Deeptracer, and Datastory.
If you are unsatisfied within the first 7 days of your first subscription, contact us at hello@codeword.tech for a full refund
Refund requests made after 7 days of the billing date are generally not eligible for a refund
Partial refunds for unused days are not provided for monthly plans
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if requested
After 14 days, we may offer a prorated refund for the remaining unused months at our discretion, evaluated on a case-by-case basis

4.3 Renewals
If you forget to cancel before your renewal date, you may request a refund for the renewed charge within 48 hours of the renewal. We will process refunds for renewal charges on a goodwill basis for first-time renewal oversights
Recurring renewal refund requests beyond 48 hours will not be eligible
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
You have used the product extensively during the billing period
Your account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
You no longer use the product but did not cancel before the renewal date (beyond the 48-hour window)
Requests made outside the eligible refund window without a valid exceptional reason
One-time purchases or add-ons (if applicable) unless they were defective or not delivered
6. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are processed back to the original payment method used via Stripe
Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
Stripe processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount in certain jurisdictions (we will inform you if this applies)
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been initiated
7. Free Trials
Free trial periods are available for select products
No charges are made during the trial
If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed
If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged accordingly
Trial-period charges that were not cancelled in time may be refunded within 24 hours of the charge — contact us immediately at info@codeword.tech
8. Switching Plans
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan within any of our products at any time
Upgrades take effect immediately; you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle
Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle; no partial refund is issued for the current period
9. Account Deletion
If you delete your account before your subscription ends:
Your subscription will be cancelled immediately
No refund will be issued for the remaining days of the current billing period unless you are within the eligible refund window stated above
Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
10. Disputes & Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly at hello@codeword.tech before initiating a chargeback with your bank or Stripe. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension of your account across all Codeword products (Macro, Spotbeam, Thirdeye, Deeptracer, Datastory) while the dispute is investigated.
11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-product notification. Continued use of our Services after the updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
